HK Bush Mule FPV Build Part 2 - Installing GPS, PM, Throttle & Flaps Channels, Prop Balancing
Found a good place to locate the GPS module. Also found places for the power module, 5 volt UBEC and the MinimOSD. Had to modify the ESC Y-cable because I didn't need the 5 volts from the ESC's. To add the flaps channel I had to change a parameter in the mission planner for the APM. Prop balancing is must if you don't want a lot of vibration.
I am using the EZUHF LRS and the APM Pro flight controller with separate Minimin OSD board. This is very similar to my SkyWalker system so I will include some links below for the equipment setup. The Bush Mule does have flaps and a cargo bay door and reversing so two extra channels will be added for those servos. Later a camera pan/tilt will be added for a better FPV experience.
