Pusher Launch - Deny the Dip

By Andrew Newton, 08 May 2018 into Bixler in Fixed Wing Watch on YouTube »

How to launch pusher style planes like the Bixler and Volantex Ranger. Single boom users tend to dip on launch due to the high mounted motor and "down thrust" motor angle. The motor will push the plane down until the wing can produce enough lift. Airspeed over the wing is the key, give it a decent throw with about half throttle. More throttle will make the dip worse, it's all about the throw.
