Ran the battery flat at the worst possible moment - while demonstrating extreme slow flight and "pusher" operation to a friend watching. The final slow segment is flown with the stick all the way back, low and slow, alpha limited to 35 degrees. And that's when the battery dies. Just kept the stick back and let the pusher work its magic into a flat "thump" type landing. Airspeed at the minimum, gear up and minimal damage despite the very high sink rate involved when flying at maximum alpha and no power.
