This is a long video because I’m trying to get good numbers for flight time, etc.
I upgraded the motor to Cobra C-2221/16 940Kv Brushless Motor based on Mark Q. advice on the RCGroup forums. My AUW is heavy for this airframe (over 1700 g) based on what others are getting, and Mark recommended a larger motor for this weight.
I am a bit disappointed, I was expected cruise throttle of 2-3 A and a flight time of an hour. But seems it needed a lot more to stay in the air (at least that is what iNav thought in altitude hold mode), so the projected flight time is only 25 minutes with a 4S 5200 mAh battery.
The hard landing at the end was not a stall. It was pilot error. I switched to manual control on the final turn for landing (no wing leveling) and did not have enough experience flying in this mode.
